Soprema and Eurovia have formed a partnership found the company SOPREVIA to recycle roofing asphalt.

Thanks to its testing center, based in SANCHEVILLE, Phenix Industries has showed its know-how and have designed a mobile plant able to grind roofing asphalt rolls scrap, as well as applying lays (construction waste).

The aim was to reduce this waste in 25x25 mm chips to re-use it in compounds with virgin asphalt, close to a coating central.

This product is known to be very difficult to treat, but, thanks to its unique granulator which has already been successfully tested to granulate elastomers (SBR EPDM NR), it was a total success.

This plant is able to process 20000 tons a year !
